But I suspect that it was not too long in humanity's history before women discovered that men all tended to have the same weakness . . .
SEX
If the forbidden fruit was sex, or the sexual organs, what does it mean to say that Eve offered the fruit to Adam . . . perhaps Eve offered HER fruit to Adam . . . so may be Eve posed seductively, teasing and enticing him.
Such a woman could be called a "Forbidden Woman", a "Teaser", the "Temptress", etc, but since this is a book about Eden . . .
I call her "The Eve-esque Woman".
This Chapter will focus on a gallery of Eve-esque Women throughout the Bible, Myth, Legend, and History . . . by some of the greatest contemporary Pin Up artists . . .

The Daughters of Lot
According to the text, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their violence. Lot's family were able to escape before the destruction . . . though Lot's wife was turned into a pillar of salt.
Finding shelter in a cave, Lot's daughters pondered their future. With their boyfriends being lost in the inferno, they hatched a plan - they got their father drunk, and seduced him!
I was, initially, a little unsure whether to put "The Daughters of Lot" as a category, because it could be viewed - in this day and age - that these young women raped their own father!!! However, the text suggests that Lot was remorseful about his actions the next day, which means that the text implies that while he was drunk, he was certainly - to some extent - cognitive of his own behaviour!
Thus, that these young women could ply their father with alcohol and make their bodies irrisitible to their own father surely makes them "Eve-esque" women!!!

Erzsebet Bathory was a noble woman who was accused of murdering many girls. Many of the accusations against Erzsebet may have been false, but such were the charges against her that she was imprisoned until her death. Like all good stories that develop a life of their own, Legend now insists that Erzebeth bathed in the blood of her young victims. As such, Erzsebet is considered the female version of dracula, the "Blood Countess".
What does this have to do with the "Eve-esque Woman" . . . well, Sebastien Serrano recreates Erzsebet as a beautiful woman who tempts young women to come close to her - only to kill them. As for being a temptation for men, well I am sure that most men are tempted by some "girl-on-girl" action!!!
